I am using Office pro plus downloaded from portal. And I suddenly lost mail icon in my Windows10 Control panel. I don't have any office14 or office15 installed. However, I still don't have the control panel applet. What I did notice is that all of the Office executables for Outlook, Word, etc. I have never seen this before. Is this something new with Office, or, is this a Dell thing now? I have the exact same issue. It's like Dell's shipping half-baked Office installs with these latest systems. Outlook just gets some bogus "can't find that user" type error when launching and entering verified-correct e-mail credentials for Office Can't set up the mail account manually because there's no mail icon in Control Panel.
Looks like Dell just screwed up all things Office. I'm going to just try to log in directly to Office. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. User's post on December 20, I have got latest Windows Update on my laptop. I am connected to a domain 2. I am using Exchange Online mailbox, sorry I don't have the permission for Office portal. I am having the same issue. Dell laptop. Not using Office at all. I rebooted m PC and got the "creator" update. Not I don't have the mail or calendar app on my PC. I can go into settings. Under "accounts", under "email and app accounts", my email accounts are listed. I can add and delete from there. The mail icon and app are apparently missing. They only way I can seem to find it is to click a "mailto: link on a web page and it opens, but as soon as I close the webpage, the app is gone.
